Mohammad Hussain belonged to village Zafarwal, District Narowal in province Punjab. He was born on 15 November, 1970 to Sain Mohammad and Naziran Bibi.

Hussain joined Pakistan Navy in 1988.

He served at different ships and naval establishments for six years.

In 1994, he opted to serve in Naval Aviation. Hussain was a good hockey player. He was married and had one son Haziq, 2 years old.
