Mohammad Riaz belonged to village Chak No. 108/12 -L, Chechawatni, District Sahiwal. He was born on 7 February, 1978 to family of Mohammad Latif and Zubaidan Bibi.

He joined Pakistan Navy in 1993 and later joined Naval Aviation.

A well dressed individual, he had a love for the country and always thought for her betterment. He was a good player of Cricket.
